Market Kitchen A : is a fruit & vege board collage.

Inspiration:  our many fruit & veg sign boards we see all around the country.

Process : This series of works originate from hand painted signs which I have then re-composed to produce my own layered sign boards, picking out bits & pieces from each sign. When the unique, imperfect and quickly hand-painted words are bought together in a structured & layered composition, it is only then that we see the beauty in the inadvertent ‘drybrushing', layering, rubbing back, painting over, and completely free & practical expression of these sign boards - ironically, these are many of the techniques that artists use today !

Order timing : Allow 2-2 1/2 weeks for processing except for 'B' orders which take 3-3 1/2 weeks. Shipping adds 2-3 working days. Please note that all orders are printed & framed once a customer has purchased & only a small amount of stock is held. If you should require an item sooner, a RUSH option is available on 'A' - stretched canvases & 'C' - rolled canvases for an extra $10 or please enquire if one is held in stock.
